A Fabulous Guide for Road Tripping to Vegas

Every June we head to Vegas for Couture. While most are excited about the amazing jewelry show, for us it’s the entire journey – how we get there, what we wear, what we do and who we see.

Maris Ladies live their lives full of #noordinarymoments. We are constantly finding ways to make a regular experience extraordinary, so rather than flying to Vegas, we decided to not just road trip but to do so in style. See our journey below...

Rent a Vintage Car

We made our way on Route 66 in a 1964 red hot Buick Electra convertible. Word to the wise, make sure you have enough space for luggage!

Put together an itinerary and playlist

A road trip is about having fun and taking in the entire experience. Put together an itinerary but don’t feel bound to it! Pair that with your favorite music and you’re ready to go!

Elmer’s Bottle Tree Ranch

Describing it doesn’t quite do it justice. You off road in the middle of nowhere to find thousands of bottles forming trees. It’s amazing and unexpected.

In-N-n-Out.

We got there at the perfect time and indulged on burgers, fries and milkshakes. Be sure to ask for the hats to get a fun photo!

Peggy Sue’s 50’s Diner

We stopped for the photo opportunity but left with milkshakes in hand.

The World’s Taller Thermometer

It was 106 degrees, and the temperature was rising. Next door we found Alien Beef Jerky and a world famous Greek restaurant … which was a must for us. If you’ve seen our office, you’d know why!

Seven Magic Mountains

Try not to confuse this with the Seven Wonders of the World, but they were pretty spectacular and by far the best for a photoshoot!

Vegas, baby

We rode into Vegas like everyone should … with the top down blasting Brittany Spears. We pulled into the Four Seasons ready to get to work.

Whether you’re going for business or pleasure, make the experience like no other. We promise, you’ll never forget a road trip to Vegas..
